"'War Memoirs' by Winston Gray" The author did a good job putting
together his grandfather's memories of the 'Great War'. I recommend
this book. ***** I give it 5 stars

The author gives a riveting but brief history of his Grandfather's
family. Mr. Gray goes on to bring to life the memories that his
Grandfather has passed on to him about the atroceties of war, the
fear a soldier endures, the hardships that war brings, the happiness
of going home and the sadness of results of war and its
aftereffects. I rate this book as five *****s.
Mr. Gray has done a good job of bring to the reader his grandfathers
thoughts and feelings as well as those of Corporal Dale's comrads in
arms.

The author has brought to life the characters in this story. One can
feel the hatred for Gilbert, 'the hairless cat', all consuming for
the 'victim'. The PDF version is well scanned and easy to read I
give it a thumbs up and five star rating. Can't wait for another
such descriptive story.

I really enjoyed Natalie's writing style, and the feline storyline
itself was fascinating. The ending really gripped me, having to
cover the piercing "eyes" on the last page in order to finish it...
And I have to say her perspective as a cat is intriguing. Kept me
going. Very good story. :)

The POV was refreshing as was the writing style. The author painted such a great picture that you can actually feel the emotion behind the characters and not just sympathize. Amusing ending too. Good read.
